Ryoko Ono and Toshiji Mikawa Release New Album Beyond Screaming Sax

Saxophonist Ryoko Ono and Hijokaidan/Incapacitants member Toshiji Mikawa have released a new album entitled Beyond Screaming Sax. It's getting released on Rrecords and is currently available to order from Ono's site here. The short description for the album describes this collaboration as creating "amazing sound scenery no one has ever experienced before." Mike Shiftlet Releases Fourth Volume of 24-Hour Tetracosa Project

Mike Shiftlet has released the fourth volume of his 24-hour Tetracosa project. Tetracosa has eight volumes total, and will be released throughout the course of the year. The piece involves "350 unique sound objects categorized and layered such that no two moments are alike" and was inspired by John Cage's i-Ching works and Wandelweiser.
