Crys Cole was commissioned a piece by the Radio del Museo Reina Sofía and it has now been released on the museum’s website. The track is called “oftentimes” and contains recordings that Cole took in Bali, Malaysia, Australia, Italy, and more. In it, she continues to explore the idea of using "dream logic" as a compositional tool and brings together a confluence of sounds that “would likely never meet in the real world.” You can listen to the piece here.
Last month, Crys Cole collaborated with Oren Ambarchi and Leif Elggren on their new album Certainly. The album was released on Ultra Eczema and the LP can be purchased here.
