Tone List has released a new album from Jameson Feakes and Josten Myburgh. The album finds the two musicians performing Antoine Beuger's "un lieu pour être deux". The score is written for two performers and is fifty pages long. There are two numbers between zero and three listed on each page, and performers are asked to play those number of sounds very quietly. The album, which you can stream above, is a recording of the two performing 20-something pages.
The digital album can be downloaded for free from the Tone List Bandcamp page here. A CD-R version of the album is also available and it features a "handmade A5-sized matte black case containing art prints" as well as a booklet containing essays. An album launch party will take place on May 28th in Perth. You can find more information on the Facebook event page here.
